About the players
Sounds Historical are a specialist early music ensemble. Their repertoire spans the medieval to the 18th century - performing on an exciting array of period instruments including viols, recorders, theorbo, gittern, crumhorns, flutes, lutes and more! Each member of the group perform and record with a wide variety of early music groups such as La Serenissima, Chelys, Fiori Musicali and Linarol consort, among others and all are passionate about their work in music education.
They are thrilled to have been selected for three prestigious Continuo Foundation grants to support their work.
